We have been working with Abi for nearly 2 years. I couldn’t possibly put into words how grateful we are or how much she has helped our son. Every session is fun and engaging with lots of activities and support for between sessions too. Abi has worked with our son’s school and teachers to support them with developing his speech. This has been paired with liaising with NHS services to ensure a unified approach. Our son has gained so much confidence and has felt fully accepted and cared for by Abi. Abi is truly wonderful. It was such a relief to see how excited our son was for every session with her. Abi is patient, warm, understanding and encouraging. She has a subtle way of keeping our son on track whilst being sensitive to his age and emotions. Every week was different enough to keep it interesting and varied, but kept us building on ongoing goals and needs. I loved how Abi would leave us with physical pieces of homework to continue without her and how thoroughly she summarised every session so that my husband could keep up to date too. She really is one of a kind and a true talent at what she does. Our son has made such great progress with Abi just in time for starting school. We will both really miss her.
